Reward Example

This is an example of the printable certificate that a child will receive when they have complete certain goals that have been set. I have made it bright and colourful to attract the child eyes but also plain and simple for effectiveness.

This will motivate them to stay active and try and complete as much physical activity as possible, as young children are motivated mainly by stickers and certificates.

Logo

Creating a logo for my project was harder than I thought, I started to look at other logos that were already out there and get some ideas together.

logo

I really like this logo as it is bright and colourful attracting children, I like the writing particularly in this logo because it is fun and playful through the way it looks like it has been drawn and then coloured in, I think I will use this style writing in my logo.

I don’t like the comic sans style writing in this logo as I think it looks amateur, however I really like the colourful silhouette of the girl dancing. It creates the image to the audience that exercise is fun and this is the same message I want to get across.

Promotional Video

I have decided to create a promotional video to add on to my website, explaining to parents and children what the reward system is about. It will be a short video that I will create on Adobe Voice advertising the site.

The video will help to show children visually about the website as they learn better through visual elements; it will also create an idea of how the site will work and the benefits that will come from creating an account and using the site.

Website Colour Scheme

As I am not at the stages where I need to start thinking about the layout and colour scheme for my reward website, I decided to research what colours attract children.

Bright and bold colours are the types that attract a childs eye and the bright colours helps to motivate them as they get a positive vibe from them.

This is a website I found really helpful while deciding my colour scheme:   http://www.dtelepathy.com/blog/inspiration/beautiful-color-palettes-for-your-next-web-project

These are the colour pallet that stood out to me as being child friendly. All the pallets I choose have a base neutral colour that could be the background and then bright and bold colours that will be all the elements; attracting the child’s eye.
